Among the (many dubious and often questionable) things learned in the Guide, one of particular interest to voters (of most any world) is the campaign for President Of The Galaxy during which Humma Kavula became rather well known for his slanderous, “Don’t vote for stupid” campaign against Zaphod Beeblebrox. Given the popularity of this campaign (for many reasons, most of which are also dubious and often questionable) we have created a bumper sticker decal of that legendary slogan.

The Hunger Games is a first person science fiction novel/trilogy written by Suzanne Collins. It introduces sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives in a post-apocalyptic world in the country of Panem where the United States once existed.

District 12 is located somewhere in the Appalachian mountains. Its chief industry is coal mining. The district has the distinction of being one of the poorest districts, if not the outright poorest, in all of Panem.

Decals and shirts for all 12 Districts as well as the Capitol are available.

V for Vendetta is a ten-issue comic book series written by Alan Moore and illustrated mostly by David Lloyd, set in a dystopian future United Kingdom imagined from the 1980s to about the 1990s. A mysterious masked revolutionary who calls himself “V” works to destroy the totalitarian government, profoundly affecting the people he encounters. A film adaptation was released in 2006.

The series depicts a near-future UK after a nuclear war, which has left much of the world destroyed, though most of the damage to the country is indirect, via floods and crop failures. In this future, a fascist party called “Norsefire” has exterminated its opponents in concentration camps and now rules the country as a police state. “V”, an anarchist revolutionary dressed in a Guy Fawkes mask, begins an elaborate, violent, and intentionally theatrical campaign to murder his former captors, bring down the government, and convince the people to rule themselves.
